    A former Chippewa Cree Rodeo Association director was sentenced to a year and a day today. Wade Colliflower was pleaded guilty to one count of theft and one count of aiding and abetting theft in December Six months of his sentenced will be served in prison. The other six will be in home confinement. He also was ordered to pay $44,750 jointly or severally. More information will be available in Friday’s issue of the Havre Daily News....

    In a meeting with community members this morning, Havre High School principal Craig Mueller presented a proposal for disallowing academically at-risk students to leave the campus for lunch. If accepted by the Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees, the change would be put into effect next school year for incoming freshmen students.     A student-produced, student-directed production will open its curtains tonight at Havre High school. Three one-act plays that were chosen by Angela Pratt, the oftentimes director of high school productions, will entertain audiences Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The plays are "Sunday Dinner," which is a comedy, "Asylum," a serious work, and "Red Herrings," a comedic murder-mystery story.
