    The Havre North Stars American Legion baseball club was excited to open Northern District play Sunday afternoon. But the North Stars had to face one of the best teams in the Northern A in that opener. Havre took on the Great Falls Electrics Sunday afternoon in Great Falls and came away with a pair of losses.     The weekend plans for the Havre high softball team included winning a couple of games, and gaining some momentum heading into the postseason. And, after a clean sweep of the competition, the Blue Ponies accomplished both. In nonleague action, the Central A Ponies faced four teams while attending the Laverne Combo Softball Invitational in Butte. The Ponies went 4-0 Friday and Saturday.     Authorities released the name of a man who died in a car crash in Havre Thursday. Hill County Sheriff and Coroner Don Brostrom said Wesley B. Collier, 31, was the victim who died of injuries sustained in the crash about 11 p.m. Thursday.
