Korb excited about new ownership

Tiffany Korb, head of the new T. K. Management Company, said she's excited about the new ownership of the Havre Holiday Village Shopping Center, which her company will be managing.

"We went from one wonderful property manager to another," she said.

Korb said Ocwen, the company Security National Properties (SNP) bought the shopping center from yesterday, made some good structural improvements after it took over in September 1999. These included reroofing the building, remodeling the interior common area and store fronts, repairing the atrium skylight and remodeling the old movie theater into a community center. She said now they have a new owner that is very strong in leasing the property out.

Korb said she has talked to people at other properties SNP owns, and those conversations have given her confidence that the ownership will be successful.

Gary Peterson, manager of the Havre Herbergers in the shopping center, said a short meeting Griffith had with the mall merchants yesterday went well.

"I'm pretty positive about it," he said.

He said Griffith seemed very positive about the shopping center's future and had good answers to questions that were asked during the meeting. He said Griffith said they were open to looking at discussions on anything the merchants wanted to talk about, and that he seemed to have contacts with many prospective tenants.

"He said he was going to make sure it's successful," Peterson said.
