National Signing Day: Lights add 17 new recruits

Montana State University-Northern head football coach Mark Samson announced Wednesday night the addition of 17 new players to the MSU-N 2012 recruiting class.

They include, Tyson Patterson (LB, 6-0, 210) of Great Falls High, Derek Moore (LB, 6-3, 230) of Bakersfield, Calif., Zach Bangert (OL, 6-2, 260) of Los Medanos Junior College, Pete Morales (OL, 6-2, 265) of La Habra, Calif., Trace Brady (QB, 5-11, 165) and Chad Barrett (RB/LB, 6-2, 195) of Fairfield, Chase Vestre (DL, 6-2, 210) and Sy Keltner (RB, 5-9, 200) of Helena High,Tyler Craig (DE, 6-1, 210) of CMR, Connor Coleman (TE, 6-1, 205) of Bigfork, Cooper Merrill (OL, 6-3, 240) of Miles City, Carson Feller (DB, 5-8, 165) of Lewistown, Zach Newbary (QB/DB/P, 5-10, 170) of Florence, Ben Keller (DE, 6-1, 240) of Honolulu, HI, Dylan Woodhall (WR, 5-9, 165) and Lander Ridgeway (LB, 6-1, 215) of Stanford and Chester/J-I's Leonard Pugsley (DB, 5-10, 165).

The Lights are expected to announce up to eight more signees lateer this week.
