Glendive pre-release walkaways arrested in Idaho

ST. ANTHONY, Idaho (AP) — Officials in Fremont County say two men who walked away from a Montana pre-release center were apprehended in southeastern Idaho while driving a pickup truck that had been reported stolen.

The Idaho State Police says 22-year-old Jerron Michael Mitchell-Fuller of Glendive, Mont., and 29-year-old Christopher Lee Etheridge of Billings, Mont., were arrested early Thursday afternoon after a high-speed pursuit on U.S. Highway 20.

Shortly before 11 a.m., the Idaho State Police was notified of two walkaways from the Great Falls Transition Center who might be driving a stolen Ford F250 pickup. A pickup matching that description filled up without paying for gas at a station in Island Park and officers pursued it.

Both men face charges of eluding, possession of stolen property and petit theft.
