More Lights and Skylights honored by the Frontier

The Frontier Conference released its postseason awards earlier this week, but the league expanded its All-Conference Teams on Wednesday night.

The Frontier released an Honorable Mention All-Conference list Wednesday, and four Montana State

University-Northern players were on it.

On the women's side, seniors Jordan Bruursema and Nikki Tresch were named Honorable Mention All-Conference. Both players also earned all-conference honors a year ago. On the men's side, junior Jesse Vaughan and sophomore Corbin Pearson were named Honorable Mention. It's the first all-conference selection for both players.

In all, 22 moreplayers were added to the 2013 All-Conference list Wednesday night. Northern's Devin Jackson and Roshawn West were also named Frontier All-Conference earlier in the week. Jackson earned First-Team honors, while West was a Second-Team selection.

Send-Off the Lights tonight

The Montana State University-Northern men's basketball team is departing for Kansas City and the NAIA national basketball tournament on Saturday morning. Fans can send the Lights off tonight at the Armory Gymnasium. Northern's practice from 5-7 tonight will be open to the public, with a chili feed and an autograph signing to follow.
