Police ask help locating man

Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation police are asking the public's help in locating Robert Grant Alexander, 57, who has been missing about a week. He is also known as Robbie Alexander.

Police led a search of the Sandy Creek area in the Bear Paw Mountains for much of the last week without success, Chief Steve Henry said.

Henry said Alexander's wife called police early last Monday to report him missing.

Alexander's car was found on Sandy Creek Road on the south end of Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation, but there has been no sign of him.

Alexander was described as 5-foot-9-inches, with brown eyes and brown hair. He is about 190 pounds.

He wears corrective lenses and has a surgical scar on his back. He has a knife tattoo on his left forearm.

Henry said his behavior in recent weeks has been described as "strange and paranoid."

"Although it appears Alexander is likely in the Sandy Creek area, we have to consider the possibility he has left the area and may not be in his right state of mind." Henry said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Chippewa Cree Law Enforcement services at 406-395-4513.
