Plane crashes on Crow Reservation with 2 aboard

BILLINGS (AP) — An airplane with two people on board has crashed at Fort Smith on the Crow Indian Reservation

Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Allen Kenitzer told The Billings Gazette (http://bit.ly/14oKSOr ) the plane crashed at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. He said he had no information on whether those on board were injured.

Big Horn County Coroner Terry Bullis told the newspaper he had not been contacted about the crash as of 2:10 p.m.

FAA records show the single-engine Aviat A-1B Husky is registered to a ranch near Gillette, Wyo.

The National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the crash.
