Big weekend set for the Havre Ice Dome

Ice Hawks play four high school hockey games at home this weekend

The Havre Ice Hawks high school hockey team will return to the Havre Ice Dome this weekend for a full slate of games.

Starting Friday night, the 1-1-0 Ice Hawks will play four games over the course of three days, with two coming against the Great Falls/Butte combo team, and two against the Missoula Bruins.

The action in Havre starts Friday at 8:30 p.m. when the Ice Hawks skate against Great Falls/Butte. The two teams will meet again at 11 a.m. Saturday. Havre then starts a series with the Bruins at 6 p.m. Saturday night, followed by an 11 a.m. game Sunday morning with Missoula.

The Ice Hawks opened the season two weeks ago with a split against Glasgow in Havre. The Ice Hawks will make the return trip to Glasgow next Saturday, and won’t play at home again until Feb. 1-2 so fans should really get out and see Havre play this weekend.

The action at the Havre Ice Dome starts with Friday night’s game between the Ice Hawks and Great Falls/Butte. The puck drops at 8:30 p.m.
