Havre Police Department

Nashae Ryan Bauer, 21, of Havre, was arrested on a charge of criminal contempt after a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation at the police station at 9:26 a.m. Monday.

Officers investigated a vehicular hit-and-run after receiving an 11:09 a.m. Monday call from a 1st Street business.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash between a FedEx truck and green Toyota after receiving a 12:13 p.m. Monday call from 15th Street West.

Officers investigated a 1:43 p.m. Monday call from a Montana State University-Northern dormitory reporting people smoking marijuana in a room.

Officers investigated a two-vehicle, noninjury crash between a purple car and a white truck after receiving a 2:06 p.m. Monday call from 1st Street.

Officers made an arrest after responding to a 4:33 p.m. Monday call from 4th Avenue about the calling party’s mother “freaking out, yelling and throwing stuff.” No other information was given.

Officers investigated a 9:52 p.m. Monday call from a 10th Street West apartment complex about a marijuana smell coming from a room.

An arrest was made after officers responded to a 4:43 a.m. Tuesday call from 8th Street about the calling party’s girlfriend “going crazy.” No other information was given.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated an 11:08 a.m. Monday call from a U.S. Highway 2 business about someone who picked up some medication that did not belong to them.

Havre Fire Department

Firefighters responded to a 9:32 a.m. Monday call to the 200 Block of 1st Street about a gas smell. They found elevated CO levels, building was ventilated, NorthWest Energy was called and they looked into the cause, which was probably from a plugged flue.

Firefighters responded to an 11:05 a.m. Monday call to the 1600 Block of U.S. Highway 2 Northeast to investigate a gas smell, which turned out to be sewer gas from plugged vent lines on the roof.

Animal Shelter

A black and white male border collie puppy was placed in the shelter Nov. 19.

A black and white male pit mix was placed in the shelter Nov. 26.
