Still no details released on death of Havre man in Idaho

Kendall Quinnell’s death investigated as a murder

Idaho law enforcement still is investigating the death of a Havre man, with a spokesperson saying Monday that no details are being released at this point.

Kendall Quinnell’s body was found Sept. 8 in Shoshone Park in the Idaho Panhandle off Interstate 90, east of Kellogg, Idaho. Friends have told members of his family that he was in Missoula, 110 miles east of the park, Sept. 7.

Teresa Baker, public information officer for the Idaho State Police, said in an email Monday that the investigation continues and no information was being released at this time.

Law enforcement officials have not said much about the case, but said they are investigating it as a homicide.

The Idaho police requested last fall that anyone in the Havre area with information about what Quinnell, 36, might have been doing in Idaho or with any information about his death to contact the Havre Police Department at 265-4361.
