Havre Festival Days Commemorative Buttons and Mugs

Only 1,000 numbered pins are available, two drawings for a chance to win two round-trip tickets from Cape Air

The 34th celebration of Havre Festival Days takes place Sept. 19-21. The theme for this year celebrates the many treasures we love about living in Havre. From the glorious big blue skies to awesome nature, incredible history and culture, to the sweet smells of a spring rain, to the miles of golden grains of harvest, to our community spirit and the people that make up this great community we call home.

1,000 commemorative buttons celebrating Havre Festival Days are now available at more than 40 Havre Area Chamber of Commerce businesses. The buttons are numbered consecutively from 1,000 and sell for $1. Some Havre businesses are running in-store promotions for people wearing a Festival Days button.

The Chamber will be drawing a series of five random numbers for each day, Monday, Sept. 15, through Friday, Sept. 19. Those holding a button with a winning number will win a Chamber Gift Certificate in varying denominations or a Festival Days commemorative mug. To claim your prize, just stop by the Chamber with your winning button. Winning numbers will be noted in the paper and on the radio the week of Festival Days.

Also, two separate random numbers will be drawn from the 1,000. Two lucky button holders have the chance to win a 7" 16GB Kindle Fire HD tablet, compliments of Triangle Communications, and a portable powerbank with flashlight to charge mobile devices, donated by Hill County Electric Cooperative.

These button numbers will be announced Friday, Sept. 19, the kick off to Festival Days.

Cape Air has also dontated two round-trip tickets to the button drawings. This winner will also be announced Friday, also.

Festival Days Mugs are on sale at Murphy's Pub, Dairy Queen, PJ's Restaurant, Vic's Place, McLean's Grocery, Yummy Yogurt, the Golden Spike, Crystal City Casino, Hi-Line Gold Casino, Tip-It Bar, the Eagles Club and the Elks Club.

Mugs may be purchased at any of these locations for $6, while the supply lasts. It is looking to be another sell-out year. This is the 27th year the commemorative mugs have been a part of the Festival Days celebration featuring the event logo.

Get your mugs and buttons early, because supplies are limited.
