Jay Perry Springer, 50, of Havre was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and criminal contempt after officers responded to an 8:02 a.m. Thursday call from 6th Avenue.

Officers investigated an 11:59 a.m. Thursday call from Boulevard Avenue about a stolen HP laptop and an Xbox 360.

Officers investigated a 1:31 p.m. Thursday call from 10th Avenue about a chainsaw, weed eater and other tools that were stolen.

Officers investigated a 4:50 p.m. Thursday call from Highland Park School about vandalism on the sidewalk.

Kathleen Horseman, 60, of Havre was issued a summons on charges of dog at large, dog registration and vaccination violation, tag and collar violation and vicious dog after officers responded to a 7:38 p.m. Thursday call from 17th Street West about a woman who was attacked by a white and tan dog.

Justin Charles Murray, 30, of Spokane, Washington, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and trespassing after officers responded to a 10:20 p.m. Thursday call from the Amtrak station about the calling party stating they had a drunk and disorderly man on the train.

Officers investigated a 12:59 a.m. call today from an 11st Street West business about a man trying to use someone else’s ID.

Two people were arrested after officers responded to a 2:57 a.m. call this morning from 3rd Street about the calling party’s daughter getting beat up by three girls. No other information was given.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies served a warrant at 1:37 p.m. Thursday at the Hill County Detention Center. No other information was given.

Deputies investigated a 3:06 a.m. call this morning from a U.S. Highway 2 West business about the calling party’s ex-boyfriend busting into her hotel room drunk and starting to throw empty beer cans around, making the reporting party and her friends leave.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Thursday and two this morning.

A child was born to Tiana Waite and Justin Boyce of Havre.
