Judy was born in Malta, Montana, on Nov. 20, 1945, to Alfred and Florence (Dyrdahl) Charlton. She attended all of her school years in Malta and graduated from Malta High School in 1963. Judy married John Wayne Korsbeck on Nov. 6, 1965, in Malta. She attended college in Helena and traveled the country with John while he was enlisted in the Army, returning to Malta in 1974. Judy spent her days often working two jobs as a secretary and an incredible waitress who served many meals to hungry bellies. She was John's "right-hand" at the insurance office until they retired in 2005. Judy continued to waitress right up until her last months. Her greatest joys in life were her children and grandchildren. She loved talking with her grandkids about horses, growing up on the farm and the many critters she had. She was active in the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, blood drawing and elections. She was an avid reader and loved crosswords and words games.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years; her parents; sister, Jo Ann Waters; and brother-in-law, Philip Sims.

Survivors include her children, son, Kelly Korsbeck of Malta; daughter, Kristie (Kelly) Rutledge of Big Sandy; grandchildren, Brantly, Andrea and Lance Rutledge, all of Big Sandy; brother, Dale (Darlene) Charlton of Helena; sisters, Darlene Sims of Big Timber, Vicki (Wes) Kroll of Helena and Kathy (Les) Bebee of Havre; mother-in-law, Ellen Korsbeck of Malta; brother-in-law, Don Waters of Malta; sisters-in-law, Sue (Dwight) Bomer of McAllister, Oklahoma, and Chick (Jim) Brogan of Wilsall; and numerous nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends
