Havre High brings three plays to the stage

A student-produced, student-directed production will open its curtains tonight at Havre High School.

Three one-act plays that were chosen by Angela Pratt, the oftentimes director of high school productions, will entertain audiences Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The plays are "Sunday Dinner," which is a comedy, "Asylum," a serious work, and "Red Herrings," a comedic murder-mystery story.

Pratt said she picked the three plays because she thought they would showcase the students' talents. The students are directing them and arranging them themselves.

"I'm excited because the kids did it," Pratt said. "They helped each other get the sets together, and it's really neat."

Tickets to the production are $5 for adults and $4 for students and seniors. The dinner to be served Friday has a free-will donation. Showtime is 7 p.m. all nights, and the Friday dinner, Hawaiian Haystacks, will be served at 6:30 p.m.
