Grazing district group to hear speakers

The Montana Association of State Grazing Districts will hold its annual meeting June 17 in Miles City.

This year’s meeting will be held at the Fort Keogh Livestock & Range Research Laboratory. The day’s events will include a joint board meeting between the MASGD and Public Lands Council board of directors, Grazing District Secretary Appreciation Lunch and the annual meeting starting at 1 p.m.

The meeting will include a great line up of speakers, with Dustin Van Liew, National Public Lands Council Executive, Richard Stuker, a commisioner on the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks board, Mark Petersen, range leader for Fort Keogh and the Montana Stockgrowers Association. MASGD has also invited Jamie Connell state director of BLM to provide presentations to the members.
