Officers investigated a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation at the police station at 8:50 a.m. Monday.

Officers investigated a 1:05 p.m. Monday call from 14th Avenue and 1st Street about a found large set of keys.

Officers investigated a 1:52 p.m. Monday call from Main Street about a stolen bike.

Mellissa Rose Snow, 46, of Box Elder was arrested on charges of criminal contempt, disorderly conduct and probation violation after officers responded to a 7:47 p.m. Monday call from Pepin Park.

Anthony Curtis Vorpaul, 22, of West Bend, Wisconsin, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after an officers investigated suspicious activity at 12:31 a.m. today on 1st Street West.

Officers investigated a 3:40 a.m. today call from a 9th Avenue business about the calling party’s boyfriend being drunk and loud, keeping the baby up and the calling party wanting him removed. An arrest was made or summons issued.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a 3:31 p.m. Monday report at the sheriff’s office of property stolen in Rudyard.

Deputies investigated a 10:29 p.m. Monday call from 2nd Avenue Northwest in Box Elder about the calling party just seeing a teenager pour gasoline in the cab of his pickup truck and seemed like he was about to burn it.

Leona Elaine Johnson, 34, of Havre was issued a summons on a charge of vicious dog after deputies investigated a 10:49 p.m. Monday call from Northern Montana Hospital about a 9-year-old girl with a dog bite on her face.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Monday.

Firefighters were called to the 1000 Block of 4th Street North at 2 p.m. Monday to put out a small grass fire but it was extinguished prior to their arrival. The landowner got it out after it spread to about a 20-foot radius.

Animal Shelter

A black and white male mix-breed dog was placed in the shelter May 8, a a black and tan male Min Pin June 12, a tan female pit bull June 18, a tan male terrier mix June 22, a male black Labrador July 3, a black and tan female mix-breed dog July 6 and a black male mix-breed dog July 6.

Births

A girl was born to Loreal Stanley and Bernard Striker Sr. of Box Elder July 6, 2015.
