Northwest Farm announces scholarship recipients

Northwest Farm has awarded two area students will receive $2,000 scholarships:

• Dallas Briese is the son of Kim Briese of Loma. He’s a junior at Montana Tech studying mechanical engineering. Some of his high school leadership roles include class president, student body representative, Honor Society member, football captain, basketball captain and valedictorian.

Briese is a member of Mechanical Engineers and American Welding Society. He plans to pursue a career in mechanical engineering after graduating from college.

• Tylynn Rettig is the daughter of Shawn and Tiffany Rettig of Rudyard. She has had many leadership roles including class secretary, prom co-chair, banquet co-chair, youth group team leader, National Honor Society group leader, volleyball team captain, basketball team captain and track captain.

Rettig was a member of Hi-Line Barrel Racing Association, high school rodeo, Business Professionals of America, Skills USA and youth group.

Rettig plans to attend Carroll College to pursue a career in pre-veterinary medicine.
