Carrie Lyn Gartner, 32, of Havre was arrested on a charge of obscene phone call after officers responded to a 2:45 p.m. Friday complaint at the police station about someone threatening the complainant.

A 16-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of violating restriction of traffic education learner’s license and Paul Robert Barrows, 49, of Havre was issued a summons on a charge of permitting an unauthorized minor to drive after an officer made a motor vehicle stop at 3:11 p.m. Friday on 1st Street.

Kim Allen Norquay Sr., 56, of Hays was arrested on a charge of trespassing after officers investigated a 3:12 p.m. Friday call from a 1st Street business about a man who trespassed the week prior being back at the location.

Jeremie Daniel Brandon, 38, of Havre was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, criminal contempt and trespassing after officers responded to a 6:41 p.m. Friday call from 2nd Street about a man fighting with his friend.

Two people were arrested after officers responded to an 8:38 p.m. Friday call from an officer asking for backup for a fight at the Havre football field. The police department omitted the names of those arrested.

Keturah Anne Walker, 21, of Havre was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, and Jonathan Seaton, 23, of Havre was issued a summons on a charge of driving with no insurance after an officer made a motor vehicle stop at 11:06 p.m. Friday on 16th Avenue.

Michael Jo Dix, 23, of Richland was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and racing or speed contest after an officer made a motor vehicle stop on 1st Street West at 2:12 a.m. Saturday.

Kevin Benjamin Math, 32, of Malta was arrested on a charge of DUI after an officer investigated a motor vehicle crash between a vehicle and a pole at 6:45 a.m. Saturday between 1st and 2nd street.

Steven Robert Schwazrock, 23, of Chinook was arrested on a charge of DUI after an officer investigated suspicious activity at 4:47 a.m. Sunday on U.S. Highway 2 East.

Jeffery Scott Sprinkle, 30, of Havre was arrested on charges of DUI, following too close, failure to stop, careless driving and failure to give notice of accident after officers investigated a call about a motor vehicle crash between a Mercury Mountaineer and burgundy Toyota Tacoma at 8:52 a.m. Sunday on 12th Street.

Officers investigated a 1:34 p.m. Sunday call from the Havre area about someone hitting the calling party’s Ford Focus.

Frank Robert Vansprang, 29, of Helena was arrested on charges of criminal child endangerment, DUI, driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, no insurance, careless driving and failure to obey red traffic signal after officers responded to a 2:54 p.m. Sunday call from 5th Avenue about a possible intoxicated driver.

Kimberly Sherrie Walters, 26, of Great Falls was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after officers responded to a 5:41 p.m. Sunday call from Rich Street West about a woman who was out of control.

Christopher Thomas Preputin, 45, of Havre was issued a summons on a charge of assault after officers investigated a 6:36 p.m. Sunday call from Bullhook Boulevard about an assault.

Officers investigated a 7:08 p.m. Sunday call from 3rd Street about the calling party having an incident with her boyfriend.

Officers investigated a 9:17 p.m. Sunday call from 14th Avenue about a domestic disturbance.

Deputies investigated an 8:02 a.m. Friday call from Davey School about a theft or fraud.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Friday, two calls Saturday, six calls Sunday.

Firefighters were called to the 600 Block of 1st Street West at 1:28 a.m. Saturday to investigate a smoke smell. The smell was caused by someone spinning their tires and burning rubber.

A girl was born to Erin Broncho and Frank Parisian of Box Elder Sept. 18, 2015.
