Havre Middle School announces students of the month

Representing Havre Middle School as sixth-grade Student of the Month for September is Sadie Filius.

Sadie is the daughter to Scott and Kari Filius. She has one sister, Peyton and one brother, Parker.  

Sadie is involved in basketball and volleyball and represents the HMS Mustangs on the cross country track.

Sadie's teachers recognize her for always being prepared and participating in class. She takes her work seriously and strives to do her best. She is helpful, kind and sweet. Sadie is a joy to have in class and brightens the day of those she is around. Sadie plans to win a state title in athletics and go on to play college basketball.

Blakelee Lines is the seventh-grade Student of the Month for September.  

Blakelee is the daughter to David and Shannon Lines. She has four siblings, Ethan, Ammon, Emme and Maddy. She plays the flute in the band and is active in spirit club. Blakelee swims for the Lions swim team and is involved in her church youth group with community service projects. Blakelee was new to HMS last April. Her teachers have noticed what a sweet girl she is. She always has a smile on her face and is ready to get to work each and every day. Blakelee tries her best in each and every class activity or lesson each day.  

Blakelee's plans are to graduate with a 4.0 and go on to college to become a nurse so she can help people.

Student of the Month in eighth grade for September is Mason Rismon.

Mason is the son to Shawn and Stacy Rismon. He has two brothers, Nate and Kade.

Mason is an HMS Mustang for football, basketball and track. He also enjoys riding dirt bikes, helping on the family farm and hanging out with his brothers.

Mason's teachers note that he is really attentive in class and has a great sense of who he is and how to visit with adults. He comes to school every day putting his best effort into his daily work. He isn't afraid to ask questions for better understanding and does so politely. He comes to class prepared to learn and really listens and stays focused well.  

This young man is driven to learn and wants an education.  Mason's plans are to work on the family farm.
