Juliet was born on Aug. 13, 1924, the fifth of six children, to Myron and Emma (Brekke) Patterson. She was raised in Harlem, attending schools there. Juliet began working for the telephone company at their Harlem office while in her teens, and when the Harlem office was closed, she moved to Havre and worked at the office in Havre until 1952.

While there, she met a dashing young man by the name of Henry Sapp, and they were married in 1948. The couple's union was blessed with three children, whom they raised in Havre.

Juliet was very involved in the Havre Assembly of God Church, where she played the piano. Music was a huge part of her life, and she convinced the powers-that-be at Deaconess and Sacred Heart hospitals to allow her to play her accordion and conduct Sunday services for the patients there. She also was instrumental in organizing people in the church to conduct nursing home services.

Juliet had a soft heart that drove her to help those in need and neglected, assisting them with their children and giving them rides to church. She also enjoyed crocheting and sewing and spending time with her family was always treasured time, indeed.

Juliet was preceded in death by her parents, Myron and Emma Patterson; her siblings Harriet, Edith, Almira and Clifford; and her grandson-in-law Shawn Thompson.

She is survived by Henry Sapp of Havre, her beloved husband of over 67 years; her son, Bruce (Carla) Sapp of Azle, Texas; her daughters, Jennifer (Tom) Scott of Worden, Montana, and Patricia (Steve) Smart of Sidney, Montana; her six grandchildren; her 12 great-grandchildren; her sister Kathryn Coyner of Spokane, Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
