Obituary - Charles Ray Williamson

Charles Ray Williamson, 85, passed away of natural causes while surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015, at the Northern Montana Care Center.

Cremation has taken place, and memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015, at the Havre Assembly of God Church with Pastor Curt Curtis officiating.

Charles was born on Aug. 8, 1930, in Tioga, Colorado, to Henry and Vara (White) Williamson. He was raised throughout Colorado and Wyoming, graduating from high school in Reliance, Wyoming. Charles married Kathleen Galloway in 1950, and they moved to Great Falls, Montana, for Charles' work.

In 1964, the family relocated to Havre, where he owned and operated the Bernina and Electrolux franchises, until his retirement in 1988.

Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing and reloading ammunition. He was active in the Assembly of God Church, and time spent with his family was precious indeed.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Vara Williamson; his sister, Virginia R. Wright; and brother, Dalton G. Williamson.

Charles is survived by his wife, Kathleen "Micky" Williamson of Havre; his son, Keith Williamson of Havre; his daughters, Linda (Barry) VanWagner of Halliday, North Dakota, and Lois Lopez of Scotts Valley, California; his grandchildren, Barrett VanWagner, Brendan (Carolina) VanWagner, Jennifer (Jess) Tomac, Tyler Williamson, Katie Joy (Jeff) Ball, Kimberly (Josh Mollman) Lopez and Ashlee Williamson; his great-grandchildren, Natalie and Nicole VanWagner, Jacob, Benjamin, Levi, Makayla, and Hallie VanWagner, Makyla, Caleb, Caden and Joshua Charles Tomac and Brooklyn Rose Ball.
