Officers serving a warrant at 4:49 p.m. Thursday at a 1st Street establishment made two arrests, but no details were available.

An officer investigated a complaint made at 5:32 p.m. Thursday from a 14th Avenue residence in which the caller said a relative had stolen a cell phone and iPad.

After a caller from Smithville Road at 6:38 p.m. Thursday reported someone had beaten up his caughter, an officer issued a summons to a 17-year-old, gender and town of residence not provided.

After a caller from the “Havre area” at 12:03 a.m. today reported a 14-year-old boy left at 5:30 and had not returned home, an officer made two arrests, but details were not provided.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

A deputy investigated a call at 11:22 a.m. Thursday from County Road 100 South that someone had broken into a house.

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held a female, brown and black mixed-breed dog; a male, brown and black Rottweiler-mix dog, and a male, black and white Labrador-mix dog.
