L.J. was born on Oct. 8, 1982, in Havre, to Larry and Marcia (Cichosz) Morsette. He attended school in Havre, and played basketball for Havre Middle School. His first job was working at the Havre Daily News, where he met a lot of his friends. Shortly after, he began working at Checkers, and later made his permanent career at the Chippewa Cree Corporation. He married Stephanie Green, and the couple later divorced.

Growing up, L.J. had a passion for building toy cars. He was a family man that everyone enjoyed being around. If you ever needed a laugh, L.J. was always there to make sure to give you a good one. He was a quiet, gentle man who was always willing to help anyone that needed him. He was our Mr. Fix It. If anything was broken, L.J. was right there to put it back together for you. He enjoyed going to concerts with his dad and playing the guitar. He also loved being a kid with his nephews, Ka'is, Tai'cen and Isiaih; and his many cousins. L.J. will be missed by many people.

He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Vern and Grandma Glorraine Chicosz; his aunt Gina Rose; and the love of his life, Rylin Burns.

He is survived by his son, Gavin Johnson; Katie and Taylor Derry and Danielle Coronado, whom he took in as daughters; his dad, Larry Morsette Jr. of Rocky Boy; his mother, Marcia Morsette of Great Falls; his sisters, Julie (Wesley) Morsette of Great Fall and Megan Morsette of Rocky Boy; his nephews, Ka'is and Tai'cen Morsette and Isiaih Lozano Jr .; nieces, Kaleisa and Milana Sutherland; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Have safe journeys, we will see you again.
