Havre Middle School announces December Students of the Month

The Havre Middle School Sixth-Grade Student of the Month for December is Audrina Williams.

Audrina is the daughter of Sheri and Andy Fangmeier and has two sisters, Theron and Onika. Audrina is involved in band and choir and enjoys music, art and basketball. Audrina's teachers have noticed what a positive young lady she is. She has a great work ethic and attitude. Audrina never complains and completes each assignment with excellence, often going above and beyond the expectations. She participates well in class discussions and asks questions to enhance the understanding for the whole class. Audrina is a positive leader and works well in groups with her peers. Her positive attitude and diligent work ethic adds nothing but a positive learning environment to the classroom. Audrina's plan is to get a college degree in music and arts.

December's Seventh-Grade Student of the Month is Maya Watson.

Maya is the daughter to Rob and Melanie Watson. She has one brother, Cole. Maya really enjoys singing and dancing. Her teachers describe her as being "the strong silent type." She is quiet but her quiet nature should not be mistaken for insecurity. Maya has a strong sense of who she is and what she wants. She is truly an individual. Maya can be counted on in all things, from turning in completed quality work to engaging and helping others. When helping others she is sensitive and kind. She doesn't give answers but guides her partners. She is a learner and a teacher. Maya's confidence and sense of individuality grow daily; setting her apart from her peers. She has a strong desire to meet her academic goals. She is proactive when it comes to her schoolwork and is always kind, polite, respectful and organized. Maya's plan are either to become a second-grade teacher or an occupational therapist.

Garrett Parsons is the Eighth-Grade Student of the Month for December. Garrett is the son to Cory and Danielle Parsons. He has two sisters, Nicole and Paige, and one brother, Dakota. Garrett represents the HMS Mustangs strongly in football, wrestling and track. He also enjoys baseball, riding dirt bikes, hunting and snowboarding. Garrett is a very focused and hard worker. He comes to class every day to improve himself and give his best effort. He has a great attitude and is respectful, kind and considerate to others. He does the right thing when others are not and rises above negativity. Garrett takes advantage of each day and works very hard, especially in the weight room. His attitude and hard work are greatly appreciated. Garrett plans to join the military in the future.
