Sen. Jon Tester today announced he is hosting his 16th Small Business Opportunity Workshop in Billings on Accessing Capital: Financing your Business in the 21st Century.

Tester's workshop will focus on helping Montana small businesses maximize their potential by connecting entrepreneurs with the capital they need to start up and grow in the 21st century.

"Accessing capital is one of the biggest challenges facing small businesses in Montana," Tester said.  "My Small

Business Opportunity Workshop will connect small business owners and entrepreneurs with financing experts so they can continue to grow their businesses and create more jobs."

Founder and CEO of American Rural Diane Smith and the Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration Maria Contreras-Sweet will keynote Tester's workshop.

Attendees will also learn from three panels centered on traditional financing, next generation financing and how to develop a business plan.

Montana State University-Billings, Petro Hall
