Havre Police Department

Austin Cole Morsette, 24, of Havre was arrested Friday at 8:16 a.m. at the police station on a charge of criminal contempt in relation to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

Officers investigated a vehicle crash after someone reported Friday at 11:56 a.m. an incident involving a tractor that β€œtook out the stop light” at 14th Avenue and 1st Street.

Officers investigated a two-vehicle crash on 3rd Avenue after a caller reported it Friday at 12:10 p.m. No injuries were reported.

Klayton Tyler Ameline, 23, of Box Elder, was arrested Friday at 3:17 p.m. at the Hill County Detention Ccenter on a Justice of City court warrant.

Randolph Ray Morsette, 63, of Havre was arrested on a charge of careless driving after a caller from a 1st Street West address called Friday at 10:35 p.m. to report a crash. No injuries were reported.

Kelley Marie Kaftan, 33, of Havre was arrested on two counts of endangering the welfare of children and on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller from a 12th Street West address reported Saturday at 12:29 a.m. that a woman was screaming.

Michael George Martinez, 44, of Harlem was issued a summons of a charge of criminal mischief after officers responded to a complaint that came in Saturday at 12:47 a.m. frinm Boulevard.

Carmella Jane Eagleman, 50, of Havre was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants after a caller from a 17th Street West address reported a disturbance Sunday at 12:51 a.m.

N’Drain N’Guessa, 18, of Havre was arrested for a charge of possession of a dangerous drugs after a caller from Montana State University-Northern reported Sunday at 2:24 a.m. that they could smell marijuana.

Officers investigated suspicious activity after a caller from a U.S. Highway 2 East business reported Sunday at 6:42 a.m. that a jacket that was left there had a pistol in it.

Vickie Gail Cochran, 47, of Havre was arrested on two counts of criminal contempt charges and a charge of theft of labor or services or use of property after a caller on Boulevard Avenue called Sunday at 1:25 p.m. to report a verbal dispute with someone who wouldn’t pay a taxi fee.

Timothy Ryan Smith, 33, of Havre was arrested Sunday at 7:45 p.m. at the police station on a charge of criminal contempt.

Jason Skidmore, 32, of Havre, was arrested Sunday at 10 p.m. at the police station on a charge of criminal contempt in relation to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

Officers investigated a shoplifting report after a caller from a 1st Street business reported Sunday at 10:18 p.m. that two women took three six-packs of twisted tea.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Allen Nathan Parisian, 24, of Box Elder was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and Star Eliza Broncho, 23, of Box Elder was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant during a motor vehicle stop in Box Elder Saturday at 12:43 a.m.

Kelley Marie Kaftan, 33, of Havre was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia at Hill County Detention Center Saturday at 12:58 a.m.

Deputies investigated vehicle accident reported on U.S. Highway 2 West Saturday at 11:32 a.m.

Deputies investigated a domestic disturbance reported from Rudyard at 12:12 p.m. Saturday.

Deputies investigated a report of a stolen phone from U.S. Highway 2 East Saturday at 12:26 p.m.

Three arrests were made during a motor vehicle stop on 2nd Avenue East in Box Elder Sunday at 1:34 a.m. No further information about the arrests was provided.

Deputies investigated a burglary reported Sunday at 11:17 a.m. from a 1st Avenue Southeast Box Elder address.

Marvin Lee Cure, 38, of Box Elder was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and a charge of possession of dangerous drugs at a 1st Street West residence in Box Elder where deputies were serving the warrants Sunday at 12:51 p.m.

Deputies investigated an attempted arson reported Sunday at 3:20 p.m. from a Rudyard residence.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Sunday. Reports for Friday and Saturday were not in by press time.

Fire and emergency crews responded to a two vehicle crash between a car and semi tractor-trailer on the 3000 Block of U.S. Highway 2 East Friday. One person was extricated from the car and transported to the hospital.

Fire crews responded to a deck fire on the 1500 Block of Lincoln Avenue. The owner was able to extinguish the fire before the crews arrived.

Fire crews responded to a gas smell at an address on the 100 Block of 5th Avenue. The owner located and fixed the source of the leak before crews arrived.
