Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash after a caller from Montana State University-Northern reported Monday at 9:15 a.m. that a vehicle hit a stop sign.

Officers made a drug offense arrest near the Amtrak station after a caller reported Monday at noon that a passenger was being “verbally abusive.” No further details on the arrest were made available.

Officers made an arrest Monday at a 1st Street business after someone reported at 5:16 p.m. that a wanted person was in the store.

Christina Mary Converse, 37, of Havre was arrested Monday at 7:24 p.m. at the police station on two charges of criminal contempt.

Eagle Doney, 23, of Havre was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and criminal contempt after a caller from a 1st Street Northeast address reported Monday at 7:54 p.m. that she was hit in the face.

Alan Patrick Romero, 54, of Havre was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants this morning at 12:36 at a 1st Street establishment.

Officers made an arrest after a caller reported at the police station this morning at 12:42 that she was “assaulted by her husband.” No further details provided.

Officers made an arrest after a caller from a 1st Street business reported this morning at 2:47 that a man had passed out at the business.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Tatonkaska Howard, 40, of Harlem was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Monday at 8:59 a.m. at Hill County Detention Center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Monday and one today.

Fire crews responded to a structure fire call on the 1400 Block of 5th Street Monday at 3:56 p.m. A fireplace overheated and caused the structure to catch on fire and spread to the ceiling. Firefighters put the fire out, but not before an estimated $40,000 worth of damage. Family will relocate for the time being. No one was injured and a representative of the family said they do not need assistance.
