Havre High sets freshman preregistration

Press release

Monday, April 18, at 6:30 p.m., Havre High School will hold preregistration for students who will be high school freshmen in the fall of 2016. This assembly for students and their parents or guardians will start in the high school auditorium.

At the April 18 evening meeting, information packets about the high school curriculum will be handed out. Included in the packet will be a sheet with instructions on how to register online and to request courses for next year. Counselors will be at Havre Middle School Monday, April 25, to assist those students with registering, if they haven’t done so already.

St. Jude Thaddeus School students will register Monday, April 25, at St. Jude’s school.

This is an important meeting for students and their parents because information about high school graduation requirements, college preparatory programs, changes to curriculum, and the “how-to’s” of pre-registering will be discussed.

Following the session, staff members will be available in the classrooms to consult with students and parents about course selection and any other concerns. This open house gives students and parents the opportunity to become familiar with the high school building and meet some of the staff members.
