Havre Police Department

Officers assisted a citizen report after a caller from Tracy Lane reported Tuesday at 11:09 a.m. that they found a pawn slip of their items.

Officers investigated a report of theft after a caller from 18th Street reported Tuesday at 12:16 p.m. that her purse was stolen.

Larae Ann Sunchild, 34, of Havre was arrested on a charge of criminal contempt Tuesday at 12:49 p.m. near 2nd Street and 1st Street.

Officers made three arrests after a caller at a 1st Street West business reported a case of vandalism Tuesday at 2:39 p.m. Police dispatch log provided no further information.

Officers investigated a report of theft from a 1st Street West business after a caller reported Tuesday at 3:41 p.m that two females stole chips and beer and left out the back door.

Desirea Lee Writingbird, 35, of Havre was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after a caller from Northern Montana Hospital reported Tuesday at 4:04 p.m. that a possibly drunk woman drove to the emergency room, didn’t give her name then left the E.R. and tried to get in a car.

Officers investigated a two-vehicle motor vehicle crash Tuesday at 6:14 p.m. near 20th Street and Beaver Creek Boulevard.

Officers investigated a theft report after a 12th Avenue caller reported Tuesday at 8:21 p.m. that her green garden hose was stolen.

An officer initiated two arrests this morning at 1:45 at a 1st Street business. Videl Stump, Jr., 53, of Box Elder was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and Joseph Allen Stump, 27, of Havre was arrested on a probation violation.

Hill County Detention Center

Deputies investigated a theft report after a caller from Beaver Creek Park reported Tuesday at 10:03 p.m. that their tools had been stolen. That same caller had another incident of theft or fraud looked into at the same time. No further details were provided.

Havre Fire Department

Emergecny medical personnel responded to two calls Tuesday, and fire crews responded to a report of a gas smell. NorthWestern Energy replaced a pipe at the meter.

A boy was born Monday, April 20, 2016 to Kimberly Toavs and Anthony Rucinsky of Havre.
