VA service officers coming to area

Judy Loendorf and/or Steve Mulonet, service officers for Montana Veterans Affairs will be visiting Rocky Boy Veterans Center, from 10 a.m. to noon, Dec. 2 and Dec. 16 to meet with veterans interested in applying for benefits.

Any veterans wanting to apply for benefits should bring a copy of their discharge paperwork with them. If weather is bad on days of travel, people can stay tuned to the local radio stations and the Havre Daily News for updated information on the revised outreach schedule.

Dino Christmas Party set for Dec. 10

The annual Dinosaur Christmas Party is set to run from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, in front of the H. Earl Clack Memorial Museum at the east end of Havre’s Holiday Village Mall.

The event is geared toward pre-school- and elementary school-aged children and includes dinosaur-themed crafts, balloons and cookies.

The event is free and open to the public.
