Local Bowling Report: Leagues are rolling at Harvest Moon Lanes

Ten Pin Chatter

Before we start with any scores from the week, Harvest Moon Lanes would like to take the time to thank all the friends and families who shared their Thanksgiving with us. We had a great time with all of you.

Last Saturday was our first official Jackpot Bowling of the season. It was a small crowd but everyone had a great time winning gifts and cash. None of the pots were won the first night so they will increase to $35 for all three pots for this Saturday night. Remember to call, and or sign up at the desk to get in on next week’s prizes. Thank you to those who participated. Just a reminder, Jackpot Bowling runs from 8-11 p.m. each Saturday. It’s three hours of bowling and fun for $20.

High scores for the week were, Terry Wright, who had a 237 game and a 562 series for the women. For the men, Ken Riska had a 277 game and Roman Surber a 725 series. Thursday leagues didn’t bowl last week, but Havre Hardware is in first place for Thursday morning and Watson Trucking is first in Thursday Mixers.

Next week, we will try and update you on our youth bowlers.
