Obituary: Clarence H. Olson

Clarence H. Olson was born to Olaf and Hilja Olson on June l3, l928, in Harlem.

He graduated from Harlem High School and then entered the U.S. Navy. Upon discharge, he attended Kinman Business University in Spokane, Washington, and then married the love of his life, Lillian Kuntz, July 22, 1950. He was a Ford-Mercury dealer for 43 years and people could see how much he enjoyed his career. His workers, friends and customers brought him some of the greatest joy for many years. Clarence loved people and also treasured his family. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend.

He is survived by his two children, Dr. Jerry (Leanna) Olson of Havre and Vicki (Scott) Olson Johnson of Billings, Montana, along with eight grandchildren, Clay (Tonya), Dustin, McKay (Temina), Delani (Christian) Brown, Evan (Hannah), Rylea (Cory) Bleak, Ali (Ryan) Johnson Lewandowski and Abbey Johnson, as well 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Daddy (Grandpa) was the best and we all felt so blessed with the life he provided us including his unconditional, generous love. He was beloved by many and was an inspiration to all of us.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the American Lutheran Church of Harlem, Shriners Children's Hospitals, or the charity of the donor's choice.

Clarence passed away due to natural causes Dec. 13, 2016, at Northern Montana Care Center.
