Thanks from the Red Cross

Editor:

American Red Cross of Montana gives thanks this holiday season to the people who bring help and hope to thousands of people across our state every year — our volunteers, our financial donors and those who donate precious blood.

Here in Big Sky Country, Red Cross volunteers and donors provide relief to hundreds of families every year who lost their homes and all their belongings to a home fire or who had to evacuate in the face of wildfires; they helped us teach life-saving skills, from disaster preparedness to home fire safety, and installed free smoke alarms in countless homes that had none; they supported hundreds of military members, veterans and their families; and they gave the gift of life by donating blood.

As a volunteer-driven organization, the Red Cross depends on this dedicated group of people to deliver its mission to the people of Montana every day of the year. If you want to find out about the many ways you can bring help and hope to your fellow Montanans, visit http://www.redcross.org/montana. We will find a way for you to contribute that is right for you.

To all our supporters and all those we are privileged to help, our warmest wishes for a joyous holiday season.
