The following cases were resolved in Hill County Justice Court by Judge Audrey Barger in Oct. 4-12.

Kevin Thomas Smith II, born in 1987, forfeited $250 bond for false driving log.

Nevada Blue St. Marks, born in 1995, was fined $125 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 176 days suspended and four credited, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked and was fined $125 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

Whitney Rae Rosette, born in 1990, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $500 for possession of marijuana, first offense.

Shane Lee Benjamin, born in 1984, was sentenced to 365 days in jail, 354 days suspended and 11 credited, for possession of marijuana, second offense, and was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 177 days suspended and three credited, for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Raistlen Paul Katka, born in 1992, was fined $350 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for operating a vehicle without liability insurance, second offense.

——

Khiana Berg, born in 1995, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for assault.

——

Andrew David Ambler, born in 1998, was given a deferred imposition of sentence for each of two charges: possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was ordered to pay $250 restitution on the case.

Tina A. Russette, born in 1967, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 176 days suspended, for driving without a valid driver’s license.

Frank Alvin Mcconnell, born in 1972, forfeited $200 bond for failing to obey direction to be weighed.

——

Austin John Moore, born in 1995, forfeited $225 bond for failing to use or extend retractable axle when needed.

——

George Wade Ball, born in 1980, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $250 for nonresident license or permit offenses in each of three separate cases.

——

Brian Lee St. Pierre, born in 1969, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $400 for possession of marijuana, first offense.

——

Colten Lee Shambo, born in 1991, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 177 days suspended and three credited, for assault.

——

Alion Eagleman Sr., born in 1987, was fined $10 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, six days suspended, for disorderly conduct.

——

Judge Barger also dealt with nine tickets resulting in fines of less than $100 or jail sentences of fewer than seven days, and she or the prosecution dismissed seven charges. Barger transferred eight citations to another court and held five probable cause hearings for cases out of her jurisdiction. Additionally, one suspended sentence or deferred imposition of sentencing was revoked and reinstated.
