Local Bowling Report: Merry Christmas from Harvest Moon Lanes

Ten Pin Chatter

The holidays are in full swing, shopping, wrapping, baking and parties. Harvest Moon Lanes had a pretty good turnout for the Saturday Jackpot Bowling. Sad to say, none of the three pots were won, but that only means they will increase in value.

Harvest Moon Lanes will be closed Saturday and Sunday so employees can spend time with family and friends. The following Saturday is New Year’s Eve Jackpot Bowling. The two pots will be for $45, and the final pot will be for $125, we will draw until some lucky bowler takes it home. So you still have time to reserve your spots. Bowling starts at 8 p.m. and we will end at 11 p.m. Live music by Plowed Under will be in the bar for you to enjoy, and all Jackpot bowlers will be given free cover charge to enter. Free champagne will be distributed at midnight. Watch the ball drop with your friends on the big scree TVs in the bar.

Harvest Moon Lanes wants everyone to enjoy their evening, but we would also like to remind everyone to be safe and designate a driver. All designated drivers will receiver free nonalcoholic drinks during their stay. Also, ride free services are available throughout town to help make sure everyone is safe. Call 265-5885 to reserve your spots.

High scores for the week were, Julie Rodgers with a 219 game and 582 series for the women. The men had a tie for high game between Shawn Mariani and Cody Thompson with 258. Roman Surber had the high series with 669.

Until next week, Harvest Moon Lanes wishes everyone a happy holidays.
