Dawn Hanna Freeman of Havre, 38, was arrested on a charge of probation violation after a caller from Northern Montana Hospital reported Friday at 9:59 p.m. being threatened by a hitchhiker.

A 15-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of partner or family member assault after a Seventh Street caller reported Saturday at 1:26 a.m. that her juvenile son was freaking out and she needed some assistance.

Brittney Yvette Belgarde of Havre, 25, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a 12th Avenue caller reported Saturday at 2:42 p.m. an argument during which a man had pushed a woman.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash at Montana State University- Northern after a caller reported Saturday at 3:41 p.m. that her car was hit while she was on Christmas break and the car had been parked.

Marika Ann Werk of Havre, 29, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller from Northern Montana Hospital requested an officer come to the emergency room Sunday at 1:09 a.m.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash at 11th Street and Sixth Avenue after receiving a report Sunday at 8:01 p.m.

An 11-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of cruelty to animals after police received a report Sunday at 2:11 p.m. that a boy hit a cat on the head with a bat.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a juvenile status offense after receiving a report Saturday at 10:41 a.m.

Deputies assisted a citizen after receiving a call from Rocky Boy Police Department Saturday at 11:16 a.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Saturday, one Sunday and another today.

Fire crews responded to a call at the 200 Block of Third Avenue where an electrical burning smell was reported Saturday at 9:39 a.m. The device was unplugged and no further action was necessary.

A girl was born Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017, to Kelli Yellow Earrings and Gerold Has Eagle of Harlem.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held Monday morning a black and tan shepherd mix, a brown weimaraner-pit bull mix, tan shepherd mix and a black shepherd.
