Speech, drama and debate seeks judges for Havre tournaments

Two lofty speech, drama and debate tournaments are coming to Havre the next two weekends and are still looking for some judges.

Havre High School is hosting the Class A eastern divisional tournament at Montana State University-Northern Saturday, and Chinook is hosting the Class BC tournament the following weekend, Friday and Saturday, Jan. 26-27, also at Northern.

Havre head coach Tim Leeds said some judge cancellations and conflicts have left some rounds open at the tournament this Saturday, and anyone interested in judging could email him at [email protected], register on the meet's Facebook page at facebook.com/havredivisional or call or text him at 406-552-9023.

Chinook also is offering online registration for the BC state tournament, through a facebook page at facebook.com/state2017 or by going directly to the online registration form at bit.ly/2jBv8YI.
