Hi-Line Athletes of the Week

Naomi Terry, Havre Girls Basketball

The 2017 Class A state tournament didn't end the way Havre senior Naomi Terry was hoping. But, the finish didn't take away from the incredible weekend she had in Butte. Terry averaged 14 points and shot better than 40 percent from the 3-point-line, and also scored game-high's for Havre in two of the Ponies' three games at the Butte Civic Center this past weekend. Terry, who has been All-Conference and All-State for the Ponies, will likely receive both honors again in the coming weeks.

Dane Flammond, Havre Wrestling

Havre High senior Dane Flammond wanted to win a state championship in wrestling really bad. He’d been close for two years. Finally, though, last month in Billings, he got what he was after. Flammond dominated in four matches at the 2017 state meet, on his way to the Class A 160-pound state championship. The win capped quite the school year for Flammond, who not only won a fourth straight team title, and individual championship but also was All-Conference in football in the fall.
