Community invited to bingo night at Northern

Montana State University-Northern Program Council has invited members of the community for its bingo night.

For $5, people can play bingo from 5 to 7 p.m. in the university Student Union Building Ballroom with Northern students, faculty and staff.

Fees go to Program Council activities including the prizes for the bingo.

Hi-Line United Soccer sets fundraiser

Hi-Line United Soccer is holding a fundraiser pancake breakfast at the Eagles Club Saturday 8 a.m. to noon. The breakfast, pancakes, sausage, eggs, fruit, juice and coffee, will also include a silent auction and a raffle for a gun.

Cost for the meal is a free-will donation and raffle tickets can be purchased at the breakfast or from any Hi-Line United member.

The club is still accepting players for the spring season, which runs April through June. Applications will be available at the breakfast.  People can direct questions to Ann McKnight at [email protected] or 945-0734.

Library sets Popcorn and a Movie Night through June

The Havre-Hill County Library will be showing Thursday night movies at 7 p.m., sponsored by Cottonwood Cinemas and the Havre-Hill County Library Foundation.

March 23: “Moonlight”

April 6: “The Edge of Seventeen”

April 20: “The Dressmaker”

May 4: “Lion”

May 18: “Dough”

June 1: “20th Century Women”

All movies will begin showing at 7 p.m. Popcorn will be provided by Cottonwood Cinemas. Library events are free and open to the public.

Luncheon set for March 18 for hospital volunteers

The Spring Luncheon to honor the Northern Montana Hospital Volunteers will be held Saturday, March 18, at Fifth Avenue Christian Church.

The luncheon will start at noon and run until 3 p.m. The public is welcome.

A free-will offering will be accepted.

Landlord association sets meeting

The Havre Chapter of the Montana Landlord Association will meet Tuesday, March 14, at the Havre-Hill County Library at 7 p.m.

All area landlords are encouraged to attend. Guests are welcome.
