New TV show to engage seniors in health education

Press release

Mountain-Pacific Quality Health will be launching a television series that will premiere April 1.

The weekly program, called “Healthy Living for Life,” aims to educate Montana and northern Wyoming viewers about how they can become active participants in today’s ever-changing health care climate. While the show is geared toward seniors and their caregivers, it will cover a wide range of topics that will appeal to a broader audience.

“We are excited to have this opportunity to provide viewers with cutting-edge information that will educate them on a wide variety of health care topics and beyond,” Sara Medley, Mountain-Pacific’s CEO, said. “Mountain-Pacific has partnered with our communities to provide solutions for better health since 1973. More than 40 years later, our commitment to driving innovation and solutions for better health has only strengthened. “Healthy Living for Life” is one more way we can serve the residents of Montana and northern Wyoming.”

The TV show is sponsored, produced and hosted by Mountain-Pacific and will feature topics such as diabetes self-management and training, myths about immunizations, cyber security, patient safety in hospitals, how to talk with doctors and more. “Healthy Living for Life” will showcase experts who will discuss health care topics, providing viewers with the latest information and best practices for getting quality care and achieving quality health.

The show will air Saturday mornings on SWX, a network of ABC stations, at 9:30. It will also air Sundays via NBC affiliate KULR at 6:30 a.m. and via several ABC affiliates at 8 a.m.
