Officers investigated after a caller from Montana State University-Northern said at 10:36 a.m. Monday someone stole items from his dorm room.

Officers investigate a vehicle crash Monday at 1:11 p.m. after a First Street West caller reported a fire hydrant had been "taken out by a vehicle."

Officers investigated after a Northern Montana Hospital caller, Monday at 4:41 p.m., reported a dog bite incident.

Officers investigated after a caller from 11th Street in Highland Park at 5:14 p.m. Monday reported a hit-and-run crash.

An officer, flagged down at 10:48 p.m. Monday, investigated a report of a theft, forgery or fraud at a Second Street business.

After a caller from Jefferson Avenue at 11:20 p.m. Monday asked to speak to an officer, officers issued a summons to Jordan Shortman of Chinook, 27, on a charge of criminal defamation.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

A deputy served a Justice or City court warrant on Timothy Anthony Kunz Jr. of Big Sandy, 28, at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Hill County Detention Center.

Deputies investigated a theft, forgery or fraud reported Monday at 2:58 p.m. from U.S. Highway 2 East.

Deputies investigated after a caller near Beaver Creek Reservoir reported at 6:45 p.m. Monday someone had assaulted a woman and she was sitting by the side of the road.

After a caller from Haystack Road on Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation said at 12:55 this morning that a man broke the window on his vehicle then hung up, the sheriff’s office referred the matter to Rocky Boy Police.

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Monday.
