Havre Police Department

Officers assisted a citizen after a 16th Street West caller reported Wednesday at 11:51 a.m. that her daughter ran away.

Officers investigated after a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business owner reported Wednesday at 1:34 p.m. that there was a shoplifting incident.

Tanner Joseph Walker of Havre, 35, was arrested on charges of aggravated burglary, partner or family member assault, violation of contact order and criminal contempt after someone reported a domestic disturbance Wednesday at 7:12 p.m on 17th street west.

Jacqueline Rose Morsette of Havre, 34, was issued a summons on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license Wednesday during a motor vehicle stop on Sixth Avenue at 9:37 p.m.

A 14-year-old was issued a summons on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia after a 10th Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 10:50 p.m. that she needed help with her grandson.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

The Hill County Sheriff’s Office reported no investigations or arrests Wednesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Wednesday.

Fire crews responded to a call Wednesday at 6:34 p.m. at the 1400 Block of First Street where a stove had caught on fire while cooking. The fire was put out by the time firefighters arrived. No damage was caused to the appliance or the structure and no one was hurt. Firefighters ensured fire was completely put out

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning one long-haired, three medium-haired and four short-haired cats.

The animal shelter held this morning a female pit bull terrier, a male shepherd-rottweiler mix, a male rottweiler-border collie mix and a female border collie dog.
