Kadia Miller, Havre High Cross Country

Running at home is always fun for the Havre High cross country teams. And Blue Pony sophomore Kadia Miller sure seemed like she was having fun Saturday. Miller ran a 20:57.69 to win the girls varsity race at the 2017 Havre Invitational, edging teammate Kaylee Nystrom at the finish line. Miller, who is a returning All-Conference performer for the Ponies, also helped HHS win the girls team title at Saturday's meet, which was held on the campus of MSU-Northern.

Isaiah Runs Above, HLP Cross Country

Hays-Lodge Pole's Isaiah Runs Above is having a huge season in cross country, and it continued Saturday in Havre. Runs Above finished second in a tough field at the Havre Invitational, as he came in with a time of 17:42.04 in the boys race. Runs Above came to Havre fresh off a victory at the Malta Invitational two weeks ago, where he dominated the field. Runs Above is considered one of the top Class C distance runners in Montana.
