Havre Police Department

A pickup truck hitting a parked trailer at 10th Avenue and Second Street was reported Friday at 2:26 p.m.

A caller reported from 16th Street West Friday at 5:10 p.m. that an 11-year-old didn't come home after school. Havre Police Department sent out a CodeRED Alert to people in a select area of town.

A caller at a Montana Avenue business reported a child was trying to pick the lock at a back door Friday at 7:20 p.m.

--

Jacquline Colleen Chiefstick of Box Elder, 42, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property after a caller on Second Street reported that someone was in the back alley yelling Friday at 9:30 p.m.

A 6:42 a.m. Saturday caller reported that a deer had been hit on U.S. Highway 2 at the east end of town.

--

Andrez Martae Trahan-Proctor of Havre, 21, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a callers at 2:55 p.m and 5:17 p.m. reported a man in a manic state.

An erratic driver in a blue Hummer was reported on First Street Saturday at 3:34 p.m.

Gabrielle J. Bell of Harlem, 19, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and minor in possession; Neferti Jaz-Lynn Standingrock was issued a summons on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and MIP; a 17-year-old girl was issued a summons on charges of MIP, juvenile curfew violations and three counts of obstructing a peace officer or other pubic servant, and Tanner Rodney McCliment-Call of Spokane Valley, Washington, was issued a summons on a social host violation after a caller on Eighth Street reported cars racing on a street north of the caller's location Sunday at 1:37 a.m.

T'Shauna Lee Azure of Havre, 23, was arrested on vandalism charges after a caller on Second Avenue reported that a window was broken Sunday at 7:13 p.m.

An Eighth Avenue caller reported at 9:12 a.m. Sunday finding four used syringes and a spoon.

--

A caller at a First Street business reported Sunday at 3:37 p.m. that someone drove off without paying for $20 of gas.

--

A caller from a First Street business reported Sunday at 7:54 p.m. that they were following a shoplifter at Second Street and Eighth Avenue.

--

Vandalism was reported on First Avenue at 9:22 p.m. Sunday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A 14-year-old at Box Elder Schools was issued a summons on a charge of underage tobacco possession or consumption Friday at 12:49 p.m..

Gabriel Roy Cheatam of Chinook, 50, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and two Justice or City court warrants served at Hill County Detention Center Saturday at 11:51 p.m.

Rocky Boy Police Department reported an assault at a Box Elder establishment at 12:57 p.m. Sunday.

--

A caller reported a sex offense in the county at 5:22 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to five calls Friday and seven calls Saturday.

--

Firefighters provided mutual aid on two grass fires in Blaine County, one Friday at 9:30 p.m. and the other at 2:55 p.m.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats and two 10-month-old kittens all of unknown gender, a female 7-month-old kitten, three male cats and two female cats.

The shelter also held two male mixed-breed dogs, a female Labrador retriever dog, a male mixed-breed 9-month-old puppy, a male 8-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 9-month-old St. Bernard puppy, a female Labrador retriever, a male 9-month-old corgi puppy, a female 6-month-old shar pei puppy, a male Labrador retriever and a female mixed-breed dog. Two male 8-month-old mixed-breed puppies and a male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy were being held in foster care.

Births

A boy was born Friday, April 1, 2022, to Susan and John Wipf of Havre.
