Havre Police Department

A single-vehicle crash into a light pole was reported on the 13th Street hill Thursday at 10:53 a.m.

A caller on Sixth Avenue asked Thursday at 3:22 p.m. to speak with an officer about an incident that occurred March 23.

A Thursday 5:31 p.m. caller asked for assistance with a rental on Second Street.

--

Acoya Nathan Gopher of Box Elder, 25, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller reported a man passed out on Third Street.

--

A caller reported Thursday at 9:30 p.m. that someone had crashed into his vehicle on U.S. Highway 2 West.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's office dispatch log reported no arrests, summonses or investigations in the 24-hour reporting period.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to five calls Thursday and one call early this morning.

Firefighters, accompanied by ambulance crews, responded to two vehicle crashes Thursday. The first call was at 10:54 a.m. to the 10 Block of 13th Street where a vehicle hit a light pole; the driver refused transport, and firefighters stood by until NorthWestern Energy crews arrived to repair the damage to the pole. The other call was at 3:34 p.m. to the 400 Block of Second Street where no one was injured and firefighters performed traffic control until the scene was cleared.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat and one kitten, both of unknown gender, eight male cats, five female cats and one male 21-week-old kitten, along with one cat being held in the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held 10 mixed-breed dogs, four mixed-breed puppies ages from 19 weeks to seven months and a male 17-week-old puppy. Additionally, four 8-week-old shepherd puppies and a male mixed-breed dog were being housed off-site.
