Hello, God. It's me, Mara.

Happy moments!

You know, Lord, we all love happiness. How about a family get-together; sharing some happy moments, that was fun!

"Oh, it's delightful to see you here - let's have some 'happy moments,' eh?" Elly laughed. Lady #1: "Well, as old as we are, I'd say that we have a happy marriage, peace and a nice home."

The group agreed, the next gal spoke, "I'll tell you about two neighbor girls. I'd never seen twirling, cartwheels, as those two girls did! They're probably in middle school. They sure were fun to watch." We all laughed.

Elly, said, "I'm across town from you, my high school neighbor boy can do that, he can also walk on his hands, his feet straight up in the air'! I'd never in my life thought that was possible, but I saw him do that; probably a dream come true."

An older gal spoke, "You should have seen my grandson and his friend - they came to weed my garden; I just praised the Lord for how hard they worked, doing such a great job - on their hands and knees, yet; yup - they got dirty." We giggled.

"We've an organ, piano, drums, guitar and violin player and three that lead our Sunday music. I can no longer sing, but my heart jumps with praise when old hymns are sung.

"We've shared peace, praise, faith, glory, hope, happiness. That's wisdom, caring, love, maybe even some victory," she added. "Our pastor shared that we're born to die[1] - life is fleeting, we're to make the most of it while we're here, there's a time for everything in life. God has given us each a talent. I find that helpful."

Thank You, Lord, for "happy moments!"

Love, Mara

(1) Ecclesiastes. 3: 2-8: "There is a right time for everything: a time to be born, a time to die.... A time for peace."
