Havre Police Department

A vehicle crash was reported at 13th Street and Fifth Avenue Friday at 7:54 a.m.

Evelyn Frances Foursouls of Have, 40, was issued a summons on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program no-show at the police station at 8 a.m. Friday.

Amari Love Longknife was arrested on a criminal contempt charge related to an 8:01 a.m. Friday no-show for the 24/7 Sobriety Program at the police station.

Letisia Joy Badhawk of Box Elder, 31, was arrested on charges of assault, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and reckless driving and on a Justice or City court warrant after a 9:40 a.m. Friday complaint of a red Chevrolet speeding in Havre.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller reported $70 was stolen at Havre Community Pool Friday at 1:05 p.m.

A theft was reported Friday at 5:58 p.m. at a First Street business.

Jacina Doney of Havre, 25, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a charge of driving without a driver's license, and Adam James Swan of Havre, 36, was arrested on a charge of open container in the city, after a Friday 6:30 p.m. caller on First Street reported a driver and passenger in a vehicle were passing an alcoholic beverage container between them.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Ninth Avenue caller reported Saturday at 2:19 a.m. that someone near them was throwing a party and they had a fire going.

Someone stopped at the police station Saturday at 9:48 a.m. asking to speak with officer about a theft, forgery or fraud.

A hit-and-run crash was reported at a First Street business Saturday at 10:12 a.m.

--

A caller on First Street Northeast reported at 8:43 p.m. Saturday that their residence had been broken into, with a lock broken and items taken.

A caller at a First Street West business reported a shoplifter at 4:54 a.m. Sunday.

--

A Sunday 8:29 a.m. caller on First Street West reported a lost wallet.

Stephanie Rae Spottedeagle of Box Elder, 49, was issued a summons on charges of shoplifting and trespass to property after a theft was reported at a First Street business Sunday at 3:19 p.m. Spottedeagle was arrested at the First Street business Monday at 9:27 a.m.

Gary Lee Clark of Havre, 58, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence refused to test, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, habitual traffic offender, speeding and failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance after a vehicle stop on First Street West Sunday at 5:46 p.m.

Vandalism was reported at a First Street West organization Monday at 10 a.m.

--

A theft was reported Monday at 1:05 p.m. at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business.

--

Warren Paul Small Jr. of Havre, 25, was issued a summons on charges of trespass to property and shoplifting after a caller at a First Street business reported Monday at 2 p.m. that a theft had occurred the previous day.

A Monday 2:58 p.m. caller asked officers to perform a welfare check on someone on Third Avenue.

Filberta Mae Skidmore of Havre, 46, was arrested on a trespass to property charge after a trespasser was reported at 6:58 p.m. Monday on Ninth Avenue.

A 12th Street caller reported Monday at 7:07 p.m. that a family member stole a phone and changed the number.

Michael Edward Goodwin of Havre, 62, was arrested on charges of DUI and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after an 11th Street West caller reported Monday at 7:40 p.m. that man was passed out in a vehicle.

--

A past break-in on Second Avenue was reported at 10:12 p.m. Monday.

--

Fred Nashookpuk of Havre, 38, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants after a caller at Pepin Park asked officers at 12:43 a.m. Tuesday to check on man in the park.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a Friday 8:14 a.m. report of a theft, forgery or fraud at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Flint Walker Blackwolf of Box Elder, 35, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Friday at 4:24 p.m.

--

A vehicle theft was reported Saturday at 1:29 p.m. at a Box Elder establishment.

--

Deputies investigated a complaint in Rudyard reported Saturday at 3:54 p.m.

--

Deputies were asked to assist another agency at 10:48 p.m. Saturday on Second Street Northwest.

--

A hay bale was reported on U.S. Highway 87 near the turnoff to Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation Sunday at 11:08 a.m.

--

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business at 12:35 p.m. Sunday.

--

Deputies were asked Sunday at 6:23 p.m. to assist someone north of Kremlin.

--

A noninjury, semitractor-trailer rollover was reported off Montana Highway 232 at mile marker 29 Sunday at 8:09 p.m.

--

John Conrad Rorrer-Hanson of Havre, 29, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at District Court Monday at 2:02 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Friday, one call Saturday, seven calls Sunday, seven call Monday and two calls early Tuesday morning.

Firefighters responded with one engine, along with an ambulance, to a vehicle crash on the 1300 Block of Fifth Avenue at 7:57 a.m. Friday. Two people were treated but no one required transport to medical care.

Firefighters responded in mutual aid to a grass fire on County Road 100 South at 2:30 p.m. See details below.

Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said that, at structure fire Saturday at 10:58 p.m. on the 7700 Block of Second Street West initially reported on Monday, Havre Fire responded with four firefighting vehicles and 11 firefighters, Bear Paw Volunteer Fire Department responded with two vehicles and three firefighters, and Chinook Volunteer Fire Department responded with two vehicles and two firefighters. Bear Paw Fire chief Josh Bebee said Chinook and Bear Paw used heir tender trucks to provide water on site. Courtnage said the 4,000 square foot shop and its contents incurred significant damage but no one was injured and, because the fire was in Rural Fire District 1, Hill County Sheriff's deputies are conducting the investigation on the cause of the fire.

Firefighters responded to a fire alarm at 11:42 a.m. Sunday on the 10 Block of Third Street West, but only had to reset the alarm.

--

And firefighters, an ambulance crew and NorthWestern Energy responded to a Monday 3:32 p.m. report of a gas smell on the 100 Block of First Street West, but NWE reported it was sewer gas.

Bear Paw Volunteer Fire Department

Bear Paw Volunteer Fire Department responded to a 2:30 p.m Friday grass fire reported 1 mile south of Laredo off County Road 100 South. Rocky Boy Fire Department, Box Elder Volunteer Fire Department, Havre Fire Department and local land owners also responded, a release from Bear Paw VFD says, and the fire was contained to minimal acres in an area which had already been harvested.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats and two 23-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, six male cats, two female cats and two male 13-week-old kittens. Additionally, two 15-week-old kittens were being housed off-site.

The shelter also held three puppies from 8 to 15 weeks old, two male dogs, four female dogs and nine 14-week-old puppies. Additionally, seven 9-week-old mixed breed puppies and a male dog were being housed off-site.
