Havre Police Department

An 8:30 a.m. Friday caller reported losing a women's black wallet at a First Street business.

A caller on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest reported Friday at 9:10 a.m. that a dump trailer had been stolen the previous week. The caller reported Sunday at 12:02 p.m. finding the railer on Washington Avenue

A caller reported to animal control Friday at 2:05 p.m. that a ferret was lost on Fourth Street.

Officers were called to Fifth Avenue after a caller at 6:25 p.m. Friday reported a person outside barefoot and trying to get into the caller's house.

An arrest was made after officers initiated investigation Friday at 7:36 p.m. on First Street West of a possible stolen vehicle out of Chinook. No details on charges were provided in the dispatch log, but Josh Blake Lamere, who was named as an involved party, has been listed in the jail roster since Saturday morning as being held on charges of resisting arrest and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and on a City court warrant, along with a parole hold.

A Main Street caller reported at 9:40 a.m. Saturday that a pitbull attacked the caller's dog.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Fifth Street at 12:38 p.m. Saturday, and the incident was resolved peacefully.

A Saturday 5:14 p.m. caller on Sixth Avenue reported items were stolen out of a vehicle.

A 15-year-old was issued a summons on charges of runaway juvenile, youth in need of intervention and juvenile curfew violation after someone stopped at the police station at 8:50 p.m. Saturday asking for assistance.

A 1:41 a.m. Sunday caller reported a dead deer at 11th Street West and Washington Avenue.

A single-vehicle crash with injuries was reported on the 100 Block of 12th Avenue at 3:05 a.m. Sunday. No one with details was made available at the police station by print deadline, but Havre Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said vehicle airbags had deployed and the three passengers were able to get themselves out of the vehicle. All three were treated at the scene, but one person was subsequently transported to the hospital.

Someone stopped at the police station Sunday 2:15 p.m. asking for assistance and officers investigated the issue.

John Michael Segna of Havre, 33, was arrested on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a First Street business reported Sunday at 4:59 p.m. that someone had stolen a tire iron.

Todd William Roscoe of Havre, 53, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, hit and run, careless driving, stop sign violation and seat belt violation after a hit and run crash was reported on Seventh Avenue at 1:24 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A dead deer was reported Friday at 6:09 p.m. in the middle of U.S. Highway 87 south of the intersection with Old Post Road.

Deputies assisted Havre police on First Street West at 7:38 p.m. Friday.

Heather Anna Hoven of Great Falls, 30, was arrested on five Justice or City court warrants and a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia at Hill County Detention Center Saturday at 12:27 a.m.

A dead deer was reported at 7:36 p.m. Saturday in the eastbound lane of U.S. Highway 2 about 7 miles west of Havre.

Montana Highway Patrol

Troopers responded to two vehicle crashes, both with injuries reported, on State Highway 223 near the Marias River south of Chester Friday at about 8:15 a.m. No one was made available to comment on the details before print deadline.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to one call Friday, six calls Saturday and three calls Sunday. Firefighters responded along with the ambulance to a 3:05 a.m. Sunday vehicle crash on the 100 Block of 12th Avenue.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held a 21-week-old kitten and two male cats.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held 12 puppies between 16 weeks and 9 months old, one female mixed-breed dog, and a female and a male Rottweiler. Additionally, two puppies, ages 22 weeks and 6 months, were being housed offsite.
