Havre Police Department

A caller reported Thursday at 11:46 a.m. that a man on Third Street West made a threat of physical harm.

Two arrests were made during a 2:05 p.m. Thursday vehicle stop on First Street, but no details on charges were provided.

Curtis Wayne Stanley of Havre, 58, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and a pick up and hold order served on First Street Thursday at 2:34 p.m.

Fred Nashookpuk of Havre, 38, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge after a Thursday 4:41 p.m. caller reported seeing a man hit a woman in the alley between 15th and 16th avenues.

A 14-year-old was issued a summons on charges of theft and attempted theft after a 6:11 p.m. Thursday caller on 14th Avenue reported the theft of a controlled substance.

A Boulevard Avenue caller reported Thursday at 6:50 p.m. a pickup truck had been keyed.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a First Avenue caller reported at 9:24 p.m. that a person was riding a bike in the oncoming lane.

Two arrests were made after a vehicle stop on U.S. Highway 2 East at 1:18 a.m. today, but no details on charges were provided.

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Thursday and one call early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held one 9-month-old kitten and four cats all of unknown gender, four female cats and five male cats.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held 10 puppies between 5 days and 22 weeks old and three female mixed-breed dogs. Additionally, four 18-week-old puppies were being housed off-site.
